Dr. Saba Jazmin Kazravan is a seasoned perioperative nurse leader and the founder of the American Academy of Surgical Nurses. With over 36 years of global experience in surgical nursing, clinical leadership, and advanced perioperative education, she has dedicated her career to elevating surgical standards and empowering the next generation of perioperative professionals.

A Doctor of Nursing Practice with an Executive MBA in Healthcare Leadership, Dr. Kazravan is also a Certified RN First Assist (RNFA) and a CNOR-certified perioperative nurse. Her expertise spans complex surgical assistance, evidence-based education, executive leadership, and international humanitarian work. She has trained thousands of surgical nurses across the globe, advancing excellence in the field through hands-on training, leadership development, and a deep passion for global health.

Dr. Kazravan holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Healthcare Administration, as well as an Executive MBA in Healthcare Leadership. She is also a CNOR-certified perioperative nurse and a Certified RN First Assist (RNFA). Throughout her distinguished career, she has served in both staff and executive roles—including Executive Director of Surgical Services—leading surgical teams of over 400 healthcare professionals.

In addition to her national work, Dr. Kazravan has spent over three decades training surgical nurses internationally and providing care through humanitarian missions across five continents. As President of Orphans Worldwide Organization, she continues to lead medical teams delivering critical surgical services to vulnerable populations.
